JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in maintaining general ledger in compliance with current policies, procedures, and applicable federal laws and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Performs month-end reconciliations, including but not limited to, multiple bank accounts, general ledger accounts, tax liabilities, and employee deduction accounts. Maintains databases, to include fixed assets, slot Statistics, and other confidential information. Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements in a timely manner and in accordance with deadlines.
Pay Range: $23.00 per hour
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two college-accredited accounting courses.
- Associates Degree may be considered in lieu of accounting experience requirement.
SKILLS:
- Must have good bookkeeping knowledge and skills. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of general ledger experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years work experience in an accounting office.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
- Must be flexible to work all gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and or other employment entities.
