JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises the planning, event details (using BEO), eliminating potential challenges, set up, service during events, breakdown, and reset tables, chairs, and bars. Keeps guest and work areas clean and presentable. Observes and adheres to responsible service, educates the team, trains them on cut-off procedures, logs, signs of intoxication, etc.

Pay Range: $23.00 per hour

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in set up and tear down of banqueting, other formal food and beverage service, or conference functions.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in banquet service preferably in a high volume resort and/or hotel.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience delivering supplies, moving equipment and/or furniture in a banquet environment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the public utilizing guest relation skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a current valid Washington State driver’s license, posses a clear driving record, and meet the organizations insurance criteria.
  • Must possess a Food Handler’s permit or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
  • Must have a Class 12 liquor permit, or able to obtain within 60 days from date of hire.
  • Must be flexible to work all venues in a similar position.
  • Must be flexible to work all gaming sites, Tulalip Resort/Casino, Bingo, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and off site catering events.
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and /or holidays.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must have successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
