JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures properties and assets of the TGO are safeguarded. Provides a safe and friendly environment for guest and team members. Patrols TGO parking lots to ensure the safety of our guests, team members, and their vehicles. Performs security checks of the parking lots and all T.G.O. exterior buildings. Performs Identification verification at all entrances and gaming floor. Performs patrol duties of interior and exterior of non-class III areas. Issues parking violation notices to TGO team members violating the TGO Parking Policy when needed. Follows the Security Department’s Internal Controls, Standard Operational Procedures (S.O.P.), and TGO Policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $23.86 per hour

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Ability and/or prior experience writing concise and accurate reports.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of driving experience.
  • Prior experience working with the public utilizing guest service skills.
  • Prior work experience utilizing a computer and Microsoft Office programs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is considered “safety sensitive” and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Out of state applicants hired for this position will be required to obtain a Washington State Driver's License within 30-days from hire date. 
  • Must posses a clear driving record and meet the organizations insurance criteria.
  • Must attend and successfully complete all mandatory training as outlined by Director of Security.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Must have a successful employment history with The Tulalip Tribes and/or other employment entities.
