Department: Surveillance

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists with the management of the Surveillance Operation and team members at all TGO gaming sites: Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek, and Bingo & Slots. Ensures department operates in compliance with the Tribal/State Compact, Regulations, TTC Chapter 10.05 Gaming, and Internal Controls.

Pay Range: $44.31 - $49.85 per hour

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • College courses or Technical schooling in related electronic field preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Strong math and analytical skills with emphasis on researching, interpreting, and translating a variety of data. (Test Required)
  • Ability to compose business correspondence, i.e., letters, memorandums, etc. (Test Required)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of four (4) years casino gaming experience working in surveillance operations.
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working experience utilizing a personal computer specifically MS Word, Excel, and Access programs.
  • Minimum of three (3) years work experience with development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience creating, implementing and maintaining departmental budgets.
  • Prior experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance equipment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is considered “safety sensitive” and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must possess, and maintain, a valid Washington State Driver's License and personal auto insurance.
  • Must demonstrate current knowledge of Tribal/State Compact, Regulations, TTC Chapter 10.05 Gaming, and Internal Controls.
  • Thorough knowledge of Surveillance Department procedures, video and digital equipment use, and procedures and protection techniques for all games on property.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of procedure manuals from various departments.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must be flexibility to work any shift including days, swing, grave, weekends, holidays, and/or on-call.
  • Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
