JOB SUMMARY:
Provides non-routine, complex administrative support to the Assistant Director – Banquet Operations. Manages and orchestrates assigned projects and tasks and provides analysis regarding various aspects of catering operations. Contributes to the department by identifying and determining relevant issues/objectives and assists with recommendations of quantifiable solutions. Displays positive public relations in networking situations with an array of personnel, guests, vendors, executives, etc.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.88 per hour
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
SKILLS:
- Ability to type 25 wpm. (Test required)
- Excellent writing and composition skills and methodical in conducting work, i.e., prioritizing, multitasking, planning, and coordinating. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years working administrative/clerical experience in a hospitality related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working with the public utilizing guest service skills.
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in writing Banquet Event Orders.
- Prior experience working with catering software applications such as Opera preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a professional appearance.
- Must attend training and/or travel as job functions and duties require.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
