JOB SUMMARY:

Provide technical support for customers on PC and software related issues, new PC setup/development, network cabling installation/termination. Operate and learn/apply new technical skill(s) while performing primary duties. Assume primary responsibility ensuring new and existing desktop systems are setup and functional according to established installation procedures at all TGO properties.

Pay Range: $25.91 - $29.15 per hour

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with team members and end users. (Test required)
  • Must have basic math skills. (Test required)
  • Ability to proficiently and accurately type 25 wpm. (Test required)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with helpdesk functions, user assistance, and troubleshooting desktop PC problems.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with Category-5 cabling installation, termination, and testing consistent with IEEE 802.x standards.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with PC hardware, software, printers, laptops, component setup, repair and replacement.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, and basic windows networking fundamentals.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with obtaining quotes and purchase ordering, warranty repair and replacement scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with maintaining and troubleshooting devices in a client-server environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is considered “safety sensitive” and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must possess a valid state Driver’s License and personal auto insurance. 
  • Applicant will be required to successfully pass an agility exam with at least a “medium” level score to determine whether the applicant is physically capable of performing essential job functions.
  • Must be flexible to work all TGO gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, holidays, and/or regularly on-call.
  • Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
