JOB SUMMARY:
Provides non-routine, complex administrative support to the Banquet Supervisor. Manages and orchestrates assigned projects and tasks and provides analysis regarding various aspects of banquet operations. Contributes to the department by identifying and determining relevant issues/objectives and assists with recommendations of quantifiable solutions. Displays positive public relations in networking situations with an array of personnel, guests, vendors, executives, etc.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.88 per hour
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
SKILLS:
- Ability to type 25 wpm. (Test required)
- Excellent writing and composition skills and methodical in conducting work, i.e., prioritizing, multi-tasking, planning, and coordinating. (Test required)
- Good math and analytical skills with emphasis on researching, interpreting, and translating a variety of data. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years working administrative and/or clerical.
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working with the public utilizing guest service skills.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in writing and/or reviewing Banquet Event Orders.
- Prior experience working with catering software applications such as Opera preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a professional appearance.
- Must attend training and/or travel as job functions and duties require.
- Must be able to successfully complete either a tribal, state, or federal background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Hotel Permit per Regulation 12 with the Tulalip Gaming Agency.
- Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
