JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Salish Sun venue, including the successful delivery of guest satisfaction. Develops and maintains a positive work environment and well-trained team. Implements and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Two years of Business and/or Hospitality courses through an accredited college preferred.
SKILLS:
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills. (Test required)
- Must have excellent math skills related to bar/restaurant industry financials. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience serving and/or mixing alcoholic beverages in a full service restaurant and/or bar
- Minimum of three (3) years experience managing a bar and/or restaurant operation.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in a supervisory position in a high volume bar and/or restaurant operation.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be certified with the National Restaurant Association for SERVsafe Food Protection Manager Certification Course, or obtain within one (1) year of hire.
- Must have a Class 12 Liquor Permit, or obtain within 60 days from date of hire.
- Must possess a Food Handler’s permit, or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Knowledge of HAACP – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point.
- Knowledgeable of Labor Laws, Health Codes, and Liquor Laws.
- Must attend training and travel as job function and duties require.
- Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers.
- Must attend mandatory guest service training.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have a successful employment with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employment entities.
